The Chabot Museum in Rotterdam has been located in a monument of the Nieuwe Bouwen since 1993. The museum, a white corner villa on the Museum Park, is a design from 1938 by the architects Baas and Stokla. It has also been a national monument since 2000 and manages one of the most important collections of the painter and sculptor Hendrik (Henk) Chabot (1894-1949), a Dutch expressionist.
