The Hague Public Transport Museum (HOVM) is located in an old tram depot that has been renovated to its original state of 1906. The museum shows how people used to travel by public transport. A large collection of historic trams and buses forms the basis of the museum. Even the oldest tram (from 1878) is in the depot.

Museum
View the extensive collection of trams and buses and the exhibition space. In the museum you will learn about the past, present and future of public transport in the The Hague region. The Hague Public Transport Museum manages an enormous collection of (antique) trams that all served HTM Passenger Transport NV or the predecessors of the current transport company. There is also a large collection of buses to admire in the museum, the oldest example dates from 1943. Have you seen enough old trams and buses? Then take a seat on one of the buses or trams for a ride. A large number of the trams and buses are still in running order, so that journeys can be made regularly.
